Our Impact

The Latino Social Work Coalition and Scholarship Fund has had a profound impact on the advancement of social work and mental health within the Latino community. By providing support, resources, and opportunities for aspiring social workers of Latino descent, the Coalition has empowered individuals to pursue education and careers in social work, thereby addressing critical social issues within their own communities.

Through scholarships, advocacy, and networking, the Coalition has not only increased representation within the field but also facilitated culturally competent care and support for Latino individuals and families. Their work extends beyond individual success stories, influencing systemic change and fostering greater equity and inclusion within the social work profession.
